Jamie Stevens - Mens Hairdresser of the Year 2008

27-year-old Jamie Stevens already has a CV to die for: his own salon at 18; working for Beverly C, Daniel Hersheson and now Errol Douglas (where he’s Art Director); shoots and cuts for the likes of Kylie, Stella McCartney, Elle McPherson, Christian Slater, and Gok Wan to name a few; and the coveted position of ghd Directive Creative Ambassador for the cult hair iron brand.

On November 24 2008, Jamie added the title of Men’s Hairdresser of the Year to the list for his first collection for the British Hairdressing Awards (below). Jamie said: “I wanted to do something different, but with a really masculine feel. There’s a mixture of short to long hair, indicative of what’s current in high fashion and on the streets right now. Winning a British Hairdressing Award was high on my list of ambitions so I’m delighted with this result.”
